EUMETSAT Internship

Two weeks at EUMETSAT (European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites). Organized a space systems education program covering satellite construction, rocketry, and orbit mechanics. Produced and published a podcast interview with the Director General on low Earth orbit satellite operations, which required doing real homework to ask questions worth answering.

Design and deliver a coherent educational program on space systems while also producing a technically credible interview with the Director General on LEO satellite operations.

• Two-week duration. The program had to be designed and delivered within the same window.
• Audience for the educational program ranged widely in technical background

• Program built around physical hardware where possible: satellite mock-ups and rocket components rather than slides alone
• Podcast format for the DG interview rather than a written report. Better medium for covering operational nuance and edge cases.
